2021 Rubber Ducky Race
The 1st Annual Kiwanis Rubber Ducky Race was a great success! We sold all 300 ducks and all proceeds will go toward projects for children/youth in Rockcastle County. 1st Place Winner ($100) – Jamie Nicely 2nd Place Winner ($50) – Shari Proctor 3rd Place Winner ($25) – Mike Wolken Special thanks to Mt. Vernon Volunteer Fire Department for helping us get our duckies down the creek!

2021 Kiwanis Golf Scramble Winners
Chris Settles, Danny Settles, Larry Settles and Phil Hendricks placed first in the recent Kiwanis Golf Scramble at Cedar Rapids Golf Course. They donated the cash prize back to the Kiwanis Club. Thank you to all the golfers and supporters who participated in this fun event. All funds raised will be used in programs for children in Rockcastle County.

Ronnie Brown Wins Pontoon Raffle
Ronnie Brown was the winner of the recent Kiwanis raffle. Ronnie won a pontoon rental donated by the City of Mt. Vernon, an Ozark cooler donated by Rockcastle County Jailer Nathan Carter, a case of Climax water donated by Rockcastle County Food Service Director Jamie Saylor and a dinner for two donated by the BackPorch Restaurant. Thank you for the donations by each person or group. The funds raised by this raffle will be used for children’s programs in Rockcastle.

1st Annual Kiwanis Run for Kids 5K
We appreciate everyone who came out on a very chilly Saturday morning to support the 1st Annual Kiwanis Run for Kids 5K race! Proceeds will be used for various children’s programs in Rockcastle County. We are already looking forward to year’s race!

23rd Annual Golf Scramble Raises $2,000
Congratulations to the Bowman Team! They were our first place Kiwanis golf scramble winners. Second place went to the Limestone Grille Team (who escaped before we could get a photo). We appreciate everyone who participated or donated in any way. Our club cleared approximately $2,000 which will be used to directly support children/youth programs in Rockcastle County.
