Gabbard Guest Speaker at September 23rd Meeting
Lindsay Gabbard was guest speaker at the September 23, 2021 Kiwanis meeting. Lindsay is a dietitian at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. She gave an excellent overview of diabetes and how to manage the disease with diet and exercise. Thank you Lindsay!

Pensol Guest Speaker at September 2nd Meeting
Andrew Pensol, Director of CSEPP, was the guest speaker at the September 2, 2021 Kiwanis meeting. He gave an update about the chemicals stored at the Bluegrass Depot. He also provided information about how Rockcastle County maintains equipment and plans for any emergency that may occur.

Chaliff Guest Speaker at June 10th Meeting
Pam Chaliff, Director of Rockcastle Public Library, was guest speaker at club meeting on June 10, 2021. She spoke about library services and operation of library during the pandemic. The club thanked her for serving the community.

A special thanks to Rockcastle County Superintendent Carrie Ballinger for being our guest speaker at today’s meeting! She shared many new projects that are being implemented in the school district & plans for the future. KY-TN Governor-Elect Visits Rockcastle Kiwanis
David Coulter, Governor Elect for the KY-TN Division of Kiwanis visited the Kiwanis Club of Rockcastle County on Thursday, February 27th. We discussed various local projects and he shared plans and ideas for the 2020-2021 club year.

Rockcastle Regional Hosts Joint Meeting for Chamber & Kiwanis Members
Rockcastle Regional Hospital hosted a joint meeting for Rockcastle Kiwanis and Rockcastle County Chamber of Commerce on January 16, 2020. CEO Steve Estes shared information about the various programs and operations of the hospital and presented our club with a generous donation. We appreciate the support for our club and value the ongoing partnerships with Rockcastle Regional and Rockcastle County Chamber of Commerce. Former Key Club Advisor Honored
The Rockcastle County Kiwanis Club held a luncheon in honor of Ms. Kayla Bryant’s distinguished service to the RCHS Key Club as their Faculty Advisor from 2010-2019. Kayla was recognized for volunteering her time and efforts in making the Key Club a huge success! Through her efforts and those of the students she has mentored through the years, they have made Rockcastle County a better place for all our youth.
