Annual Tree Lighting & Noel Night Market
Join Kiwanis Club of Rockcastle County on Tuesday, November 27th for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Kiwanis will be providing treat bags for children. Following the Tree Lighting enjoy the Noel Night Market on Main Street in downtown Mt. Vernon. Enjoy Christmas music, local vendor booths, art show and sale and a food truck.

Keith Elkins with Radio Eye was the guest speaker for the November 15, 2018 club meeting. Donation Made to RCHS Swim Team
Tristan Winstead made a presentation at the September 27, 2018 Kiwanis meeting concerning the RCHS swim team. The team is currently fundraising for a record board for Rockcastle County High School. Kiwanis donated $250 toward their efforts. We wish the team the best of luck this season which began in October!

Donations Made to Local FRYSC
Kiwanis Club of Rockcastle County recently donated $100 to Family Resource and Youth Service Centers at each of our local schools. These centers provide vital resources to Rockcastle students and families, including weekend snack packs, schools supplies and clothing. Our club is proud to support their efforts! Longest Day of Play 2018
Kiwanis Club of Rockcastle County was proud to be a sponsor of the 2018 Longest Day of Play. Club members handed out sunglasses, bubbles, beach balls, sunscreen and other freebies to children and also gave away three new bicycles.
